If there is one ultimate therapy or answer for the younger-looking body and prevention of degenerative diseases - it is Exercise! .

You don’t need to be an expert or have a degree in physiology to realize that human beings were naturally designed to be active creatures.

Our leg muscles, more particularly, are built and shaped to walk or run long and great distances. There is no other creature that can keep up with man over the long haul.

So when they say that exercise can make us feel and look younger, we are also saying that returning to what nature has intended for us is therapeutic.

Exercise & a Fitness regime can be used to improve and even reverse a number of serious weakening illnesses. The simple act of stretching the hamstring muscles of the thighs can ease lower back pains and in some cases, eliminate cramps and knee problems.

There are various ways you can exercise. You don’t need a gym membership to be active. Walking will not only tone your leg muscles but can also work wonders for the entire circulatory and vascular systems. Static exercise cycling can help those with emphysema. Moreover, exercise helps you lose or maintain your weight by burning off fat and normalizing the appetite. When you are in your perfect or ideal weight, you look your age or even younger.

When you look at this range of benefits, you get a good idea of how basic exercise is beneficial to health. Nowadays, the average person gets less exercise than any of his ancestors.

Some jobs keep us glued to our desks all day long. We drive in cars which are mostly equipped with power steering, power windows and even power brakes. Then there is the television that keeps us from doing other activities that involve our bodies.

Even our houses have gadgets and appliances that make manual housekeeping a thing of the past. Lawn mowers and vacuum cleaners are modern inventions that wreak havoc with our health.

The effect of our current lifestyle has been profound. Obesity, heart ailments, and other degenerative diseases are results of non-activity. Our health is at risk!.

Exercise can bring back your body to its former glory. So get motivated. Get fit and avoid quick fixes. To stay young, a change in lifestyle is needed.

Even if you don’t have access to a gym, you can take regular long walks. One can also take up a hobby which requires vigorous movements of all sorts.

Dance Exercise ,Water Sports ,yoga, tennis and even gardening are some hobbies that can build stamina, improve health and stay young and fit.
